The Lobstick Tours Family
Lobstick Travel has been a family business, run by Monica Bayda since 1983 and worked closely with McConaghy Tours for 20 years! In 2009, Monica retired and her son, Mike took over after working in the office for 18 years. In 2010, Lorne and Norma McConaghy retired and McConaghy Tours became Lobstick Tours. We pride ourselves on being friendly and personable.
Come join our family!
Mike has been in the travel industry for over 30 years and has been pretty much everywhere. He is a huge Rider fan and loves traveling with his lovely wife, Dana. Mike's Favourite travel spot? Knysna, South Africa- paradise! Dana's favourite spot, pretty much anywhere in Europe. Dana has now joined the Lobstick team assisting with the tours. Dana loves to cook and travel which makes Mike very happy. Both have a great love for animals with a whole gang of dogs, cats, birds, and horses. Dana and Mike took a small group to New York this past fall to see a few shows, the Blue Jays play the Yankees, and take in all the sites and sounds of this amazing Metropolis. From their visit to New York, expect an amazing 2013 Fall New York tour in the making.

She has traveled to Australia, Eastern Europe and all over Mexico including Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, Ixtapa, Cancun, Mayan Riviera and Cozumel. Her years spent living in Florida gave her the opportunity to explore the US, visiting Arizona, Dallas, LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, Orlando, Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Anchorage and Hawaii. Lynn is a great person to see about sun destinations.
Our resident Kiwi, Lynda has been in the travel industry for 25 years and has had the chance to visit well over 40 countries. She specializes in the South Pacific but can figure out how to send you just about anywhere. This past year Lynda retired from the travel agency side of the company to take up her new roll as International Tour Manager. Last season, Lynda put together our African safari which features spotting "The Big Five" throughout South Africa, Kenya and Swaziland. This year she put together an amazing adventure Downunder along with dilgently working on Antarctica and The British Isles. Now if that wasn't enough her husband Larry and her are hosting the cruise portion of the 2013 Yukon-Alaska Tour and hope to see some of you come along. For 2014, Lynda has turned her sites to the Mystical Land of India and the breathtaking beauty of Spain and Portugal. I guess it is true that you are busier after retiring than when you were working full time.
